BELLEVUE, WA, UNITED STATES, November 8, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — – Known for her work as an immigration attorney, Tahmina Watson is stepping behind the camera to share another side of her story. Her debut photography exhibition will be presented at Yuan Ru Art Center in Bellevue, Washington, from November 7 through December 13, 2026.

For Watson, bird and wildlife photography has become far more than a creative pursuit; it has sparked a transformative journey of self-discovery, opening a new chapter in her life centered on finding joy, deepening her connection with nature, and discovering fresh inspiration, purpose, and beauty in the world around her.

“To say that bird photography has changed my life would be an understatement. What began as a journey of Finding Joy has evolved into Chasing Joy and, ultimately, Chasing Life-embracing every moment with greater purpose, gratitude, and wonder. Through this journey, I have become a better mother, a better lawyer, and a better human being. Now, it is time to share that transformational joy with others, in the hope that they, too, will discover the extraordinary beauty and joy that surrounds us every day.” Watson shared.

An avid bird and wildlife photographer, Watson captures the beauty and character of her subjects in their natural environments, exploring her appreciation for the natural world through from behind her lens.

Watson’s debut exhibition features bird photography from the United States, Europe, and Southeast Asia, showcasing the beauty and diversity of birds from around the world. The collection includes a Laysan Albatross from Hawaii, a rare white Raven from Alaska, and a Spotted Wood Kingfisher from the Philippines.

The exhibition welcomes art enthusiasts, bird lovers, wildlife photography admirers, and members of the greater Seattle and Bellevue communities to experience the beauty and wonder of nature through Watson’s lens. The gallery is open Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 4 p.m., with weekday visits available by appointment. A special Artist’s Reception will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 2 to 4 p.m., offering guests an opportunity to meet Watson, explore her photography, and celebrate her journey of finding joy through art and nature.

Watson extends her heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Julie Hsieh, artist, owner of Yuan Ru Art Center, and Mercer Island City Councilmember, for graciously hosting her debut photography exhibition.
“Through the art of bird photography, Tahmina has discovered a profound source of joy, inspiration, and balance, one that helps her navigate the immense challenges and pressures of her work as an immigration attorney.
