Lumu Named in Top 25 Security Companies on the 2026 Inc. 5000 List of America’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies

Lumu, the creators of the Continuous Compromise Assessment® security model, today announced that the company has been ranked No. 25 in Security companies on the 2026 Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in America. The annual list is the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s most successful independent and entrepreneurial businesses, recognizing companies that have achieved remarkable growth while driving innovation and shaping the future of the economy. Collectively, the companies on this year’s list have added over 627,200 jobs to the U.S. over the past three years.

Lumu’s ranking caps a period of rapid expansion for the Miami-based company, from its acquisition of Maltiverse to the launch of the Lumu SecOps Platform and Lumu Autopilot to its recent rollout of Lumu Threat Observatory™, all while scaling its Continuous Compromise Assessment model to organizations around the world. That momentum also earned Lumu standout regional recognition on this year’s Inc. 5000, ranking No. 69 in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale-West Palm Beach, FL metro area and No. 140 statewide in Florida, reinforcing Lumu’s status as one of Florida’s fastest-growing technology companies.

“Being named to the Inc. 5000 with nearly 300% three-year revenue growth validates something we have believed from the beginning: every organization faces sophisticated cyber threats, but not every organization has had access to the capabilities needed to operate security effectively,” said Ricardo Villadiego, founder and CEO of Lumu. “The market is awakening to the needs of organizations that have historically been overlooked by the cybersecurity industry. Lumu recognized this opportunity early, and our growth reflects both the scale of the need and the strength of our conviction that effective security operations must be within reach for every organization.”

Lumu’s growth reflects a broader shift in how enterprises approach cybersecurity. As adversaries increasingly exploit blind spots across networks, cloud, identity, and endpoints, security leaders are moving away from fragmented, alert-heavy tools toward platforms that deliver continuous, real-time visibility into compromise. That shift has fueled rapid adoption of Lumu’s Continuous Compromise Assessment model and helped drive the company’s nearly 300% three-year revenue growth, well outpacing the 130% median growth rate among this year’s 5,000 honorees.

“Every company on the Inc. 5000 has a story of perseverance, smart decision making, and a refusal to sit still,” says Mike Hofman, editor-in-chief of Inc. “Their growth reflects more than strong financial performance—it reflects creativity, resilience, and the customer focus required to build companies that make a lasting impact. We congratulate all honorees on this significant achievement.”

Inc. will celebrate the honorees at the 2026 Inc. 5000 Conference & Gala, taking place October 14–16 in Dallas, Texas. The full Inc. 5000 list, honoree company profiles, and a searchable database by industry and location is available now at inc.com/inc5000.
