DUBLIN, IRELAND, September 8, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Ensera, a global leader in contract design, contract manufacturing, and packaging services for the pharmaceutical and medical device industries, today announced a strategic alliance with American Injectables, a Florida-based CDMO specializing in the fill-finish of sterile injectable drugs. The partnership aims to offer pharma companies, seeking a fast and flexible route into the North American market, a seamless bridge from aseptic fill-finish to final device assembly, secondary packaging, and serialization.
Both companies operate state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities located just miles apart in Central Florida, purpose-built to support small- to medium-scale production with speed and precision. Their combined capabilities deliver a single, integrated, end-to-end solution for critical injectable drug therapies, underpinned by a shared culture of agility, accountability, and quality-first thinking.
“This alliance reflects a strong alignment not only in technical capabilities but also in mindset,” said Bobby O’Connor, Chief Commercial Officer at Ensera. “American Injectables’ facility, team, and approach are a perfect complement to Ensera’s expanding pharmaceutical manufacturing operations in Florida. Together, we are enabling pharma innovators to bring critical therapies to market with confidence, speed, and scalability.”
Ensera, formerly SteriPack, completed a significant upgrade to its Florida site in April 2025, expanding its pharmaceutical services for drug device manufacturing, final assembly, and secondary packaging of combination products. American Injectables recently completed a major expansion of its FDA-registered and inspected manufacturing facility, with additional filling capacity.
“We’ve built American Injectables with a relentless focus on quality, speed, and service,” said Travis Allen, Chief Executive Officer and Board Director, at American Injectables. “Our alliance with Ensera expands that vision across the entire supply chain, delivering a one-stop-shop for companies developing sterile injectable and combination products.”
This announcement is particularly timely as more pharmaceutical companies look to regionalize supply chains and increase resilience in the delivery of essential medicines. With both facilities located in Florida, the alliance offers a strategic geographic advantage for companies targeting the U.S. market.
The partnership is the latest industry alliance confirmed by Ensera. It follows the recent partnership announcement with fill-finish CDMO Argonaut as well as established assembly partnerships with platform device companies Ypsomed, SHL Medical, and BD, intended to ensure fewer handovers, clearer accountability and smoother progression from development through commercialization.
