Customer-owned insurer continues to offer ACA Marketplace coverage while supporting member engagement and access to care across its five-state footprint

CHICAGO, Oct. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Health Care Service Corporation, a Mutual Legal Reserve Company (HCSC), which offers Affordable Care Act-compliant Individual and Family Marketplace health plans across Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas, is reaffirming its commitment to serving consumers through the Marketplace in 2027.

As one of the nation’s largest customer-owned health insurers, HCSC has participated in the Affordable Care Act Marketplace since its inception and continues to serve Individual and Family Marketplace consumers across its five-state footprint. The company’s longstanding presence in the individual market reflects its ongoing commitment to expanding access for members.

Open enrollment for Individual and Family Marketplace coverage begins Nov. 1, 2026. Consumers can explore plan options and enroll through HealthCare.gov or their state Marketplace website, where applicable.
